Filming for the sixth season of the ITV show Benidorm has almost finished and British audiences will be able to watch the hilarious show from late summer 2013.
You too could stay in the Benidorm hotel, known as the Solana in the TV series – there’s still availability for holidays in summer 2013.
Since the TV show hit the screens back in February 2007, there has been a significant increase in demand for holidays to this sunny area of Spain. The Solano hotel where the filming occurs is actually a fictional name, as the hotel is really the three-star Sol Pelicanos Ocas which is just a short walk from the Levante beach.
If you haven’t seen Benidorm, it is about a diverse group of holidaymakers who are all out to have a brilliant holiday on a very tight budget. However, if you happen to be a big fan of the show, you will be delighted to hear there will also be a series seven, which ITV has already agreed and signed up to.
Regular viewers will also be delighted to hear there will be the return of stars Siobhan Finneran, Sherrie Hewson, Steve Pemberton & Tim Healy.
If you’re considering staying in the Sol Pelicanos Ocas, you can relax in the lagoon-style swimming pool or make the most of the three Jacuzzi’s available. Alternatively, you will be very close to all the nightlife, allowing you to combine a wild and relaxing holiday in one.
